Syrian, Russian airstrikes hit ISIS convoys in Deir Ezzor, Homs
The Syrian and Russian air forces carried out several combat sorties in central Syria, destroying long military convoys of the ISIS terrorists.

The Syrian warplanes carried out a number of flights in Deir Ezzor, and hit hard ISIS’ vehicles near the al-Tharda Mountains and Deir Ezzor-Homs axis.

The Russian fighter jets also carried out a number of combat sorties along the Palmyra-Sukhnah Road and Sukhnah-Tabaqa Road, demolishing several vehicles.

The Syrian and Russian bombardment resulted in destruction of tens of vehicles, including bomb-laden suicide cars and other military equipment of the ISIS.

In a relevant development on Saturday, the Syrian army backed by the country’s air force repelled ISIS’ massive attack on South of Deir Ezzur, inflicting heavy losses and casualties on the terrorists while destroying their military vehicles and equipment.

The Syrian army troops engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIS terrorists in Tal al-Borouk around Regiment 137 and foiled their attacks by pushing them back from that region.

A large number of ISIS terrorists were killed and wounded by the Syrian army.
